Hi, welcome to Inside Insiders. I'm Pete Black and this is my weekly look back at Australian politics following the ABC Sunday morning political talk show Insiders. And I know it sounds trite to say this: but what a week it has been. It has probably been one of the most dramatic weeks in Australian politics since the dismissal in 1975. As not only have we seen our politicians and the nation as a whole struggling with the issue of climate change and what Australia's response to that should be, but we have also seen the absolute implosion of a major political party, namely Liberal Party. They are a deeply divided party both in terms of whether climate changes exists, in terms of what the policy response should be to it, and then ultimately who should be the leader.
