I'm talking to Catherine Sermon from Business in the Community, who's come to NAVCA to meet people here. Catherine is the National Community Impact Director for Business in the Community. Welcome to NAVCA Catherine. Thank you. You've been telling us about the CommunityMark, can you explain to listeners what that is? Absolutely, it's a new standard for excellence in community investment that BITC has set up for companies. We've got 30 companies that have attained the standard. They've been through a pretty rigorous process of assessment against what are the social issues that they're addressing relevant to their business and their local communities, how do they work in partnership to address that, how do they see that through their business and really shifting the emphasis from how much do companies give to communities to how do they work in partnership and what do they achieve. So delighted to see 30 companies who've got that already in different shapes and sizes and looking forward to getting more companies through the mark.
