Pathways to Palestine
This summer (June 22nd) 4 students will cycle from Ireland to Gaza. Their organisation, Pathways to Palestine (P2P), intends to raise money for the charity Medical Aid for Palestinians by “selling” every mile of their journey. The 4000 mile cycle will take 40 days, passing through at least 14 countries cycling at minimum of 100 miles per day. The planned route takes the students, none of whom have cycling experience, over the foothills of the Alps; across the deserts of Syria; through the lowest point on the planet, before finishing in Gaza.
Visit our website and donate what ever amount you can afford, no amount is too small. To encourage donations P2P will be ‘selling’ the journey. One mile ‘costs’ €25 or £20 , and the sponsor will receive the location of their mile. Once it is completed the latest software in GPS and web technology will generate an automatic email telling the sponsor their mile has been complete.
