John Miluso: John's phlog
Hello, this is Mr Maluso(?). Today I'm gonna read your poem of the week, the poem that you responsible to commit to memory and present this Friday. Poem that we've been studying and analyzing in class of course is mother to son by Langston Hughes. We know that poets can use varied line rank(?) and they like to play with punctuations(?) to really creative rhythm and form and the way that I'm gonna read this for you is really my interpretation. Yours maybe different but I wanna give you an example that you can listen to while you practice. Mother to son by Langston Hughes. Well son I'll tell you

Gabby Steward: Gabby's phlog
Hey, this is Gabby on her ___ in Densey(?) Park. My topic is active versus passive immunity. Active immunity is when your body makes the antibodies to fight against foreign ___ IE is it being active against an invader. Passive immunity is when the immunity provided by the body does not involve the individual's own immune system. For example breast feeding or getting the antibodies injected into your body that aren't your own. An example of this is antivenom. The 2 types of immunity both have their advantages and disadvantages. Active immunity is when the body reacts by producing antibodies to fight the pathogen. The antibody levels in the blood will rise and the body will also retain a memory of how to make these antibodies if it comes across the pathogen again. This process provides long term protections.
