Ray, Murphy and Pete. ___ from our lord and risen savior. Jesus the Christ. Amen. Salt is good but if the salt is lost it's saltiness(?) how will you make it salty again. Have salt in yourselves and be at peace with one another. Jesus had something to tell us here but in order to understand what it means. We need to rethink the way we look at salt. If you go to the grocery store to buy some salt you find it that's right there next to all the spices man like me you probably don't know so ask your wives that I'll have the most expensive things in the whole store. Grace mercy and peace be youth my lord and recent savior Jesus the Christ. Amen. This ___ testament reading raises some difficult questions such as why did the prophet pray for vengeance. How is his prayer justifies in the light of Jesus command to love our enemies and pray for them not pray for them to be destroyed is it? In addition the text seems really historical far away culturally(?) distant from us that we can't locate ourselves anywhere in it we struggle to find its relevant
