Ok just a quick a quick shot(?) about the folks who have come to the Tech Academy. You think about it, setting aside 3 days of your lives to learn something. Let says worlds(?) about the quality of person who comes to something like this and specially since it immediately after school. So many many of the teachers in our academy came directly from from teaching classes to taking classes and it I really you know before waiting for Superman then well you shouldn't because they're already here, Superman and Superwoman(?).
Here's an idea for a blog post on Coa(?) Catalyst. The word reform is what's the the problem we have with language when we talking about changing the existing structures. When we say reform what we're talking about is to reform what is already on the table and that's classic sort of cliches(?) of this is rearranging the pictures on the Titanic or or on the Hindenburg(?) if you wanna go back to a couple generations and I think we much a much better word for what we are attempting to do. Well this is the last day of our Tech Academy and I hope everyone had as much fun as I have had and have learned as much. The the main thing that I have picked up from the academy is some inspiration to continue to start a couple of projects that I hope will first, denicit(?) my professional life, second, denicit(?) the learning lies and the students I worked with and lastly, lead to perhaps some presentations and conferences or I can share it on larger states with other people and the project I'm really working on is part of one that falls under the general category of Edu Punk E D U Punk. Ok so right now I'm podcasting right now and can you think of any use that you might have for an automatic podcast in your classroom so Mark(?) would elaborate on that ___ so let's just say it's a grammar lesson and I need them to identify nouns and whatever you listen now I can just ___ give you a list of noun or common noun ___ whatever and ___ short answer and you know ___ not gonna want alright and you might get more of an answer a better answer out of them is they can just call and say an answer or even prefer at proof reading like we did those five minute proof reading if you have some transcripts from there and ___ they can proof.
Ok I'm beginning my Podcast right now. Do you think what what could you use does anybody here have an idea for an automatic Podcast for the classroom. Hold on a second. Here we have what about the food web. What about them. Well you know you have your many animal or this another animal there's another animal and then might be another animal of ___ animal. So it's just a big web of everything eating everything out. But you could just describe gets stupid(?) to describe a web a food web alright. Ok. What else. Anybody else have another one. Ok I'm here with wonderful group of teachers. We're talking about iPadio and we're also talking about Skype in webcam. Does anybody here think they might use pod cast right here in the classroom work. What might to you? I think it might be really good to use. Where in we could respond for internet so we could gets do ___ office announcement taught thing. Yeah. Did you ever think that you might be able to use at ease in pod cast for? I teach Science. I can think of several uses in the science area that our subjects would be very good for explanations maybe whether or web system on to ___ another contest. Well it's the end of a long Thursday conferences students and I went to the Preston(?) Center and enjoy the rain and the swim(?) little bit high on a ___ over there. No sun is ___ shining through after a couple of rainy cold miserable day and specially cold pelady(?) iced pelady(?) morning which actually snowing for a while this morning. The last day of March and they were Nelson(?) drive out there hocking(?) the baseball around get the sound of the ball hitting the mitt and that swap is just so distinctive. Follow(?) college campus it's sunny and all seems right in the world and I got to visit an old friend on campus or just slightly off campus. It's this huge hysteria(?).
I am doing a bench project which means that the visitation is getting so interesting on chat and virtual chats using Twitter in particular. I'm interested in how they work and why they work and one of the things that I have considered is who my participants are in a Twitter chat and you don't really have much information you know who the facilitators are and you haven't Twitter handles for everybody else. So I guess what you need what you can do is go back look at the profiles if they have a profile or you can send them a message asking if they wouldn't, they wouldn't mind being interviewed and that maybe what I end up having to do with. Anyway really interesting work. Gonna finish up.

This is not my usual phonecast but in response to a question I had for a class I'm taking. It's a class in post secondary education and the question is what is the purpose of Higher Education and I've been thinking about that on my trip back and forth from Bowling Green to home and I'm I have to say that I'm thinking to myself I drive 59mi here 55mi here and 55mi back and really we'll have to be more than just a desire to make money you know what is the purpose of higher education and I wouldn't do it just for that. You have to have money to live but my gosh that's 2 hours out of everyday that I drive that I don't have.
