Hello fellow #etmooc-ers! my name is Rod. I live in Oakville Ontario Canada. I'm a retired school teacher. I taught grades two all the way up to grade twelve and most of that teaching was here in on Southern Ontario in the Peel district school board. I started my career in North Western Saskatchewan. I also taught year overseas in Melbourne Australia on teacher exchange. I teach of course called the integration of information and Computer technology for the Elementary Teachers Federation on Ontario. It's a teacher upgrade course. We do many of the things that we're going to be doing in #etmooc except we only touch them and fairly lightly. One great things about #etmooc is that the people who are involved in it are people that I have either mets or I know about. All of them are people from whom I have learned a great deal, and I continue to do so. That's why I am involved in #etmooc.

Welcome to iPadio. This is a great tool for recording some audio perhaps short lesson or reminder and then embedding it into a blog or putting it up on a class website and they were really cool. Think about that is it not only replays the voice recording but also changes the speech to text so that it can be read by other people or reviewed or whatever purpose you design for it. I like iPadio.

I remember I thought since it's inception and if you're off I know you're with a testry(?). You can ___ I've been teaching for a little while. This in fact is my 31st year. I started my career in Saskatchewan in 1981 at the time that the first App(?) computers were down being introduced to class rooms there. I grew up in Troll(?) and Futy(?) and then Queens for through just college so I'm actually work my way back east and took my computer science part one using common our paths and icon computers. Which most of you won't remember. So I took my part one of computers in the classroom. The processor of this IQ. Discovered how technology could be.

elizabeth honey, remote man, loose ends

I really like the story Remote man by Elizabeth honey. It's a great story. Ned, the main characters is so realistic and I love the different adventures he has around parts of Australia. The climax of the story is really exciting too but I can't tell you what it is. It's just brings all the loose ends all together. So if you have a chance read Remote man by Elizabeth honey.

Welcome to iPadio. I P A D I O dot com. Ipadio is a really cool app that could be used for assistive technology. The reason is, you can record on an iPod Touch or iPhone or you can record directly via telephone through a 1800 number and whatever you say into your telephone will then be converted to text, so, speech to text which means that a student, if they didn't have access to some of the other assistive technology tools could actually just speak into a telephone whatever thing they want to say and it automatically records it and converts it to text and this could actually create an audio blog. In fact the link that you'll see here
