The first thing that we looked out on our sheet was how did the teacher introduce the book and I thought it was really neat that she talked to her students about their own experiences before she even gave them the books so they didn't have anything to look at or to maybe tweak their stories with how children do a lot of times but I thought that was really important kind of a neat way to introduce a book and a topic. We did talk to them about their experiences at the lights going out and what they do or how they feel when that happens and or how they think they would feel and then when she gives them book and they start making predictions about that book they used the Hey Sarah, it's Brooke.
