Protecting the quality of our soil is as important as protecting the air we breathe and the water we drink. Protecting the soil is critical to protecting our Eco system and our ability to raise crop or maintain a backyard garden. People need natural resources in order to live. A lot of our natural resource are limited like oil and coal. We must use them wisely cos once they are gone we have no more of them. A few resources are renewable. This means that they can grow again in time after being used. Trees and soil are renewable resources but we are using them faster than they are able to grow. It takes longer to remove soil than to grow trees. When a clay or animal dies it is body decomposes. Decomposers(?) are small animals like worms that turned dead plants and animals to nutrient rich soil. This nutrient rich soil will then help other plant to grow so they can be eaten by other animal ___

Crash. Chapter 2. The next day I was out digging again this time I brought my dump truck along. I shoveled dirt into the dump truck then I drove the truck over to the flower bed and dumped dirt on to the purple pants until I buried it. In the mean time my little sister Abby was picking rooms out of my shovel full of dirt. She was having worm raises. It surprise me if you have grown not afraid to pick up worms but she was only four then. So I figured she was too young to know better. I figured in a little while she will become a regular girl and scream if she ever touch anything slimy or crawly(?). Anyway as I was busy bearing panties(?) I kept looking down the street. Maybe I was more than looking. Maybe I was hoping to see the new kid Pen Webb hoping to do something else to him but I wasn't seeing him. So after I buried the last panty(?) I hop on to my bicycle and headed down the side walk. I had no idea where he live. I wasn't supposed to cross the street with that age but I did. Pretty soon the houses in the yard were smaller. I made a U turn. I was heading back when I heard his voice. ___
