Well after a little over 3 months of leaving the UK back in November 2013. We arrived back in Harry's yesterday afternoon just at the beginning of March 2nd of March. So we've been away for the entire winter and in the process we've chased the cold all the way across Scandinavia and Siberia to the pole and cold and back. So we've travelled more than 35000 kilometres and it's just incredible when you sit and think about how far we've driven. We've driven further East than Japan we've driven as far East as the East coast of Australia. I meant it's that longitude that we hit before turning round and coming back and last night just before I went to bed I was scanning through some pictures and just remembering all the fabulous things we've seen and the amazing people we've met.

Normally I consider a 500 and something kilometre drive across ___ quite a long day. But actually it felt really easy today and we're now in Norway and it felt like a very quick and easy journey to get here and we're gonna stay here near Oslo tonight and just get the car ready for coming back to the UK. So we've still got our winter tyres on with Star ___ we can't have on when we get to the UK so we need to take all the stubbs off and there's a few bits and pieces we just need to sort out before we before we head down to Denmark tomorrow ready to catch the very back to the UK the day after so just a bit of a packing and sorting and soaking ourselves down this evening. It's about 6:00 now. So hopefully we'll get quite an early night cos it's a longer drive tomorrow to get from Neil

Well my adventure in Altai is over. We are now back on our ___ and we know that we're back on the route home because you come out of the mountain and it's just got just a tiny little bit warmer. Mind you having said that last night it was a bit of a cold snap it sort of plummeted by an extra 10 degrees and we got a bit caught out as did quite a few people because you can't get Artic diesel any more cos ___ because we're too far we're too far south so you can't even get winter diesel but we thought that'd be fine cos the temperatures have been above minus twenty and then last night they dipped well below minus twenty and so we woke to find that we had a frozen tank of of diesel. So we got the blow torch back out and ___ worked his magic and everything was fine but it was a bit of a surprise we went to a ___ adding a little bit of

Hello ___ hit the road again today after a couple of days staying in 1 place. Couple of days in ___ and now we're all refreshed and ready for the journey homewards and we can really tell that we're on our way home because we start getting a lot warmer. I think I mentioned yesterday that we're all sort of having difficulty reacclimatising so we're all wearing lots of clothes and just finding ___ after about 20 degrees quite noticeable. So at the moment it's still it's minus 25 in ___ we're now in ___ which is minus 15 and we really can feel the difference and it's you know it's quite a chunk of change from minus 50 to minus 15. Yeah that's the difference from going from the UK in Winter to a nice tropical island somewhere. So we really are noticing that change in temperature. But we've also noticed today driving ___ that we're.

This morning we left the ___ on the Cornwall Highway which heads East out of the City towards the ___ but it's quite exciting we're on our last leg to the coldest place in the world so and true to it's name it's pretty darn cold as we left the ___ this morning and it was quite exciting because to get in and out the city of Dukes you have to cross the River Leena it's about 10 kilometres wide so it's a really huge river and in the summer you cross the river on a ferry but in winter when the river freezes there's the highway goes right the way across the frozen road. So it's a nice Road and it's an official highway it sort of has people that come along and maintain it and it's a proper almost like dual carriage way across the ice and we came across it on the way into the ___ but we couldn't really see it cos it was dark so today as we can out of the ___ we got a really good look at it and

Oh Happy New Year. Happy 2014 to you everybody out there for the whole whole team. Hope you had a lovely party. We certainly had a unique new year. We spend our resources in new year in republic of Cuba and a cactus CC and it was it was definitely get interesting as they've got some fireworks and we spent the day in the Cocotel(?) as well that ring a bit about fever and it's really cold here. It's been minus 25 all day. So we successfully shake winter because we've been sort of just a few degrees below zero we crossed the ___ bulk of Russia but now we're going a little bit further South. Fever all ok I'll catch you in a big valley I got mountains on either side of it and it's quite high. So the temperature is just promises and it's not really impressive we can tell this cool out ___ to mountain rangers and make things really really cold. But I don't know first day of 2014 ___
