The argument the chapter initiated the fact that there are tensions not only within congregations but between different congregations and different denominations and as a whole across the whole spectrum of American Christianity and the history and the fact that these tensions have always existed and will continue to exist and the author talks about in these tensions the fact that while there are differences in the tensions do divide there is also the potential for creativity and potential for understanding and learning new ways of dealing with each other dealing with those differences. I have a couple of things, I did grade the discussion board and some are super super excellent and then there are many that aren't answering a lot of questions or all of the questions and also it just take work. Hi this is Randall. One of the things that I find somewhat amusing is the method in which language textbooks introduce language to the beginner. In other words, when discussing introductions, often text books will introduce questions such as, "Hi. What is your name?" However, that would be a very bizarre method of starting up a conversation. We just don't do that. I mean imagine you're sitting on a plane and the person next to you asks you that question. Instead, you need to learn about questions and ways of beginning conversations I call them warm ups. So if you learn basic techniques of beginning a conversation, changing the topic in the middle of the conversation and closing the conversation, you'll sound much more natural.
