Why Digital Champions can make a difference !
Hi it's Gavin from Team Keep A Child Alive. It's on Thursday the 19th. Today had a very very very different day. We decided to wake up early, leave out of the warmth of our sleeping bags and the temperature of our -20 something tent. Had an argument with the cooker. The cooker won. So, breakfast was a bit cold. Then we decided to take the advantage of the skis that we had and we went for a nice long ski. Not much to see to be honest, all pretty much the same. Then we decided to stop, put the tent up and...what did we do next?....we thought we'd treat ourselves to tuna steaks with some nice roasted potatoes and some salad. Unfortunately we can't find it, we're sure it was in the pulks somewhere but we can't seem to find them. So, back at the usual restaurant which apparently will be condemned in 9 days time. So that's all we've done today. Actually it's not very different at all. It's exactly the same as any other day so don't know what I'm on about. I've gone mad...(gone mad!)...There are people in white coats outside. We can't see them because they're very well camouflaged! But we know they're out there and we know they're coming after us. So hopefully we'll get to the Pole before they catch us! So that's it from the Mad House. All is well. Love to all and we'll speak again tomorrow. Woohoo (woohoo!)

Hello Team Keep A Child Alive here, James speaking. We woke this morning to a total whiteout and travelled early in the day to get through that. Gavin and Frank were seeming really ill and it was a decision from the team to slow down and look after them both. Today is another day and now we've done 10 and a half hours on skis today and it is hard to walk but it is beautiful day around us. A warm -38 degrees with light wind. Everybody's quite happy and we hope everyone at home is enjoying watching our travel and phonecasts.
