I think that this resource can be used in many ways in education. For teachers I think it’s a great way to quickly and conveniently update my class website I could use this to post daily reminders for due dates or lesson summaries which can be accessibly by both students and parents. I really enjoy the convenience of this resource since it can be used almost anywhere at any time, I even downloaded the ipadio app for my iphone. From the student side, I think this resource could really engage the students. High school students are especially fond of their phones and would jump at the chance it incorporate it into the classroom. Students could use ipadio to share research with one another for a jigsaw type assignment. I really like how the recording is also displayed as text and can be saved as a podcast. This resource really could meet the needs of all types of learners. The only down fall of this resource is that the students would have to be monitored to ensure that they are not misusing the tool, for actions such as bullying. I would also have to make sure all students have their own cell phones and confirm that students wouldn’t have any extra phone bills. Overall I think it could be an excellent classroom resource when used appropriately.
