This is J.J.Smith with TheRockwallNews.com. With Penn State continuing to be in the news for the horrible child abuse tragedies and cover up that had taken place - saw that again on Dr. Phil this morning - I am preparing to do a story in the Rockwall News about child abuse in Rockwall County. I have found some child abuse survivors or "conquerors" as some of them say. People who are now adults living in Rockwall County who'd suffered extreme child abuse during their childhood and they will be featured in this article as we talk about child abuse - child and sexual abuse. It's something that we don't hear much about. It's something that we need to know all about and that will be the purpose of the story to try to further educate County residents about what they should do when they encounter child abuse.
