Tags: mom and dad, center of the universe, positive influence
I believe in many things seen and unseen. I believe that teaching is a calling a teacher not only teaches the curriculum but also value team work perseverance appropriate behaviors and many more. We are counselors nurses mom and dad and simply good listeners during the school day. Also believe that as educators we need to provide opportunities for young children that enable them to see that they are not the center of the universe the Deajay(?) states that children are very ego centric he has not saying the teachers should hurt the child ___ self esteem the children need to learn that they cannot always be the center of attention. I believe that the teaching of values is important. Teachers cannot talk with religion or politics within the classroom but I believe we can be a positive influence but not always discussing the negative. I prefer to reward good behavior than to discipline bad behavior

Hi my name is Christie Spitzley. I grew up in a small town called Argo, just North of Birmingham. My teaching experience started when I had my own children. I started volunteering at their school when they started school. I knew then that I wanted to become a teacher. I also have been substitute teaching since 2005 for kindergarten through 12th grade and I want to be a teacher so that I can inspire my own students to want to learn and I want to be a positive influence on their life. My goal is to become a great teacher that helps my students become successful.
