I hope that by the time you get this message you'll have a chance to start the class. Today you should be working on the orientation assignments make sure you go through all the parts of that. Then move on to career cruising creating a portfolio can putting the career match maker and then explore in career. So that's what you should have done today. I just wanted to make sure that you know when you're in the class that you'll see some recordings in there outside the atomic(?) running videos you'll see later you'll see some links to things call black board collaborate recording. I just wanted to let you know that I'm going to be in a required class today from 8:00am till 3:30pm over at Liberty Junior High School. This I believe I've been preparing to be a teacher my whole life. When I was young my sisters, cousins and I would play school and I was always the teacher. When I married and had children I put my dream of teaching aside. When my children are older I have applied for an adult assessor position at our local low tech center. Next thing you know I'm working with adults who want to earn their high school diploma. One day a woman came to my orientation and little did I know a story would change my life. She began by telling me why she was getting her high school diploma at 47 years of age. It all began when she was 23 and work at the local hospital. One day she was hit with a terrible migraine so terrible her supervisor told her to go home early. She only had a couple of hours left so she decided to finish her shift probably the best decision.

I really wanted to make a very real life orientation with skills that they would be able to use now and beyond. So we decided that we're going to do a exit project on financial literacy which will start with just reading and researching the different types of ways to invest their money. No, well you see one of my concern was that you would probably assess from sort of orientation with parents to help them understand this on why they're using the cell phone. Again I don't know how to make that work in elementary but I think it could work in middle and high. ___
