Today is opening day of Major League Baseball, and my beloved Boston Red Sox will take on the Texas Rangers at 4:05 PM EDT this afternoon when Jon Lester goes against CJ Wilson. This marks the TRUE start of springtime here in New England, despite the fact that an early spring snow storm has blanketed my area in 3 inches of snow. PLAY BALL!!
