Broadcast live to the web from a phone call

Hello this is Jake Standish from Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools I just want to take a moment to talk about ipadio an awesome web tool for podcasting in the classroom or even outside of the classroom. It is a very simple website to create an account with and then you can configure your account to allow students to call from any telephone entering five digit pin and then your channel pin and they can start recording right into your account. Now you can moderate it so that podcast does not go live to the world until you listen to it. It's just a great way to get students doing homework assignment using technology simply with their telephone. You can use any telephone just dial in to the numbers and they then dial in to your channel. All the details will be right here on the website (ipadio.com). So make sure that you check it out!

Hello everyone, this is Kristen Thomas and here are my thoughts on Ipadio(?). I feel that this is a tool that could be very valuable to any classroom. I realize it's accessibility and how easy it is to use. I feel that this will be a great tool to use to share important information and reminders with parents. I also think that this tool could be used to record daily homework assignment for students to reference at home. This is absolutely a tool that I would use in my class. Until next time. Hi. I'm using Ipadio, which makes an audio cast of my talking in order to give you some information about the class. Several students have expressed confusion about where to find assigments. Let me remind you don't rely on the task bar. If you do you will miss much instruction and some assignments. For current assignments always click on the lessons tab at the top of the page. Click on Course Content. right now we're on unit two Reflections so click that and then click either the homework for the date that you were looking for or Classwork and Homework for instance for Friday. You'll notice that there may also be drop boxes or links below the current homework assignment. Those go with the page just above them.
