Tags: empirical vs. non-empirical research

Hello Everyone. I just wanted to post a quick note about the difference between empirical and non-empirical research. Non-empirical research does not gather new data, but uses existing information to do an analysis or make an argument. I have posted two articles that use non-empirical philosophical analysis. These articles are written by our own Susan Birden. Dr. Birden is one of the top scholar's in philosophical analysis. While we will not discuss her articles this week, you are welcome to ask questions about them. I will have her answer any questions directly. Thank you!
