Hey Megan Bowe, Ms Gayla Gahen(?) ___ questions and the first question is how do Gayla do meanings for the student during the back the book introduction and I think she got by just running this ___ ask you question ___ talk about how they fall when their eye turned on and the time that ___ and he had that may what happened to them and how they experience so I think it made them appreciate the book a little bit more and be able to relate to it and to that I think that how she booked me in for it and she the next session is how that she how do they make predictions about reading the book and she had been make predictions based off the old stations and just whenever look at there would she also ___ all was going on and how the spots and the part of the book.
Hi this is Rachel. I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed with this kind of rating that was very good. Well for the first question Gayla bought me ___ and back introduction back asking they do when the light still out but they have to make students have flash lights and things like that and then she's like telling them what happened to the ___ how come ___ happens to them and make some more personal and Gayla have seen make predictions for the box by looking over the pictures and asking gonna talk about what they feel without bringing and like so that they can take more about the book and what they probably have in and making them think like what would they do to not that may help with you all you talk about.

Gayla(?) ___ me for the students during the book introduction by allowing her students to draw from their personal experience. She ___ able sometime to tell about their own lives and ___ with the neighbor in the dark and things that they might have it there house ___ that was dark so she help ___ meaning that draw in from their prior knowledge at the topic in their personal experiences. Gayla(?) have the students make prediction about the pictures before they read the book. She wanted she wanted them to read they read through each picture and like read through the whole book.
Hello Leslie, this is your phone cast. It's Erin Monroe. To start off my help I'm just gonna go to reach my question and the, the thing I found best about Gayla making meaning for this change(?) was how she made it personal to each individual student. Her biggest question was what would you do if the light went on your house and ask each of them personally what they did, how they done and feel. Also later on she listens to their predictions about where Ben's dad might be. They all, they have bread(?) choice open before and they ended up Ben's status in the navy and he's gone often so he's gone. It was great that she made this and to look at the pictures before hand because it helped them think of ideas of what to do if the lights went out if they were in that situation and see what the catch is in the book then first solutions. It also helped explain the story
Hi Mandy this it's Claire. Just calling to tell you about what I saw in the video. So at first what happened is each child had their own book but everyone's was supposed to sing. They talked about the topics in the books specifically having the light and they related it to real life and that is how Gayla build meaning and they've talked about times when the lights are out in their house. And it just got their brains thinking about the topic, the main topic in the book. Then they looked at each picture and talked about what was in the pictures and they made predictions about what they think is gonna happen based on the pictures. After that they they talked about, let's see
