I believe communication is key to success. Working as a classroom teacher for over a decade and currently as a high school counselor I believe communication is key. It is so important for educators to communicate with students and parents to create a common goal and give students every opportunity to succeed. Over the years we as educators have always trying to brainstorm ideas of different ways to communicate with parents. It seems it's always a struggle to talk to the parents we need to talk to. We have so many ways to communicate with parents now. Phone calls emails text messages and now I've learn podcasting as another form of communication. As a high school counselor I can see podcast as a tool to communicate information just giving about announcements upcoming events and important information. This podcast could also be conveyed to the school website to parents about.

I would use iPadio to contact parents. I found lot of time that the best time for us as teachers to call and contact parents in regards to you know discipline the agers(?) and sometimes positive things. Is not always the best time for parents to be reached and a lot of times parents do not like to be called at work or travel on with their bosses and, and applications like that. So I I did found out at my experience and is are pretty fast to respond with their emails. So I figured that would be a little bit more personable to to send a voice message to their email by sending them their link the link to this this voice recording

Hello my name is Alison and I'm a 3-D digital champion. I think digital champions can make a difference by sharing their practice knowledge and showing others what can be done with modern technology and on the internet. If people learn about and use computers it makes modern world less daunting(?) and everyone can be part of the big society. What I'm been promoting the online cause I have found that many older people thinks it's too late for them to learn about computers think that they won't be able to use ___ but to my experience of working with Ladness(?) I had found that they get ___ with it fairly quickly and I pleasantly surprise send this emails from the ___ only a few sessions. This is the only beginning. Imagine how much ___ on learning how to Skype or connect with ___
