If you're ___ engagement student writing with technology and social studies classroom holding to this Podcast(?). Hi I'm Chris Zephyr. I'm a Hickory Mackenist(?) teacher and my students successfully created digital museum towards focus on American Civil War topic of you're choosing. Each students received detailed expectation checklist take ___ guide to complete this assignment. To begin I gave students a digital survey via Google forms ask them to choose to five civil war topics they're most interested in writing about. Using these student responses I was able to assigned each student with at least one of the five topics without any students in the same class being assignment. Once students receive their civil war topic I had them create inquiry questions in order to break their topic down into themes or what I called focus areas. Here I asked students to research five focus areas within their larger civil war topics. At beginning students time to research craft and writing in their focus area.

Good afternoon everyone. The discussion board for Week #6 is now open. This week our discussion board will be set up as a peer assistance board, so that you can help each other think through your topics for your final literature review project. You can answer a set of guiding questions and then help your peers think through what topics they have chosen and where they might look for literature. The good news for this week is you do not have a quiz due! Quiz #5 will be due next week during Week #7. This week you'll be working on a research journal entry. In that journal entry you'll propose your project topic. If you haven't done so yet please take a careful look at the final presentation guidelines. As always, please post any questions or concerns about an assignment on the "Ask the Instructor" discussion board in the Assignment Guidelines folder. Have a great week. I look forward to hearing about your proposed research topics!
