Hello everyone and welcome to topic 16 of the DC ITQ. This is the final topic of the course and you've been on quite a journey since you started all those weeks ago. You might have found some of the topics challenging but I hope most of them were interesting and useful. You should have gained lots of skills which you can put to good use in your future DCing. In this final topic we'll think about how you can keep those skills up-to-date. One of the great things about technology - and possibly the most frustrating - is that it's constantly changing. There's always something new to learn! Then we'll look at making your DCing sessions sustainable - thinking about involving other organisations and volunteers, helping learners help each other and getting young and old enjoying activities together. I don't think you'll find this topic difficult. The tasks involved need you to review some of the topics we've already covered and think about how you keep your own skills up to date. Enjoy this final topic and huge congratulations for getting this far.

Hello everyone and welcome to topic 15 of the DC ITQ. This is the penultimate topic of the course so you're well on the way to the finish line! This topic is all about blogs and blogging. As you know there are blogs about every subject under the sun and when your learners start to search the web they're sure to find someone blogging about that topic. As many blogs are written by ordinary people talking about their hobbies and interests it's a great way to show your learners that the internet isn't just about big organisations and businesses. And by commenting on blog posts it's really easy to connect with people across the world. In this topic you'll create your own blog so that you can demonstrate its features to your learners. And perhaps you'll be inspired to continue blogging about your DC experiences or to provide online content for your learners. Have fun with your blogging. I'm looking forward to seeing what you can create.
