Hello this is Maria and I'm recording my very first podcast. So, to make it interesting I decided to talk little bit about cycling. So I started cycling about three years ago and I have been working out at the gym and going to a cycling class and be same the class at the gym but I have no idea what it would be like to go out on the road. So I thought I'd give it a try. Went out and join a club ride with the Central Box Bicycle Club. And it was a 40mi club ride. Well, I had no idea what would you like to ride 40mi and I thought can't be too hard right I'm in good shape. So I show up with my hybrid bicycle, which is sort of the, in between between a mountain bike and road bike, no cycling clothes I did have the helmet though and I did not have any gloves or anything but right went out had a wonderful time. ___.

Yes. Hi this is Marlene(?). Hello. What do you think of the childhood? I think I had a pretty normal Mid West American childhood. It was really nice up until I'd say probably ninth grade and that's when my Mom and Dad got divorced and it was very sad. Oh. Where did you grew up? I grew up in the Moyn(?). What school did you went? I went to Brody Junior high and Lincoln high school. Oh that is so ___. Oh let's see. Most of the time I would say art probably English also and gym. Why do you like them? Gym because you got to go outside and run around. English because I like words and art because I really enjoy any kind of art.

Topic of mine I believe is our educational system I believe that all of our students can learn does that mean that every student will graduate at the top of their class with A's in calculus chemistry and honors english unfortunately no I believe that every student has a capacity to learn skills that match their ability not everyone is going to grow up to be professional athlete or Olympic gymnast some of the population like myself are not that overly athletic like our student not all of them are going to understand how the factor polynomial or mentally picture the graph of the line I do believe that every student should be push to their fullest potential is that goal is to be able to write their own name without spelling errors or correct correctly display their multipation(?) facts of the ten then so be it but I had many students in my classroom that may never graduate high school go to college or obtain a masters degree but they worked out hard they struggle to learn the material and never gave up.

I believe it is important to have art as a choice for an elective in school when I was in school art class was the only thing that I really knew I can excel in I had always been able to draw I was praised in grade school by all of my teachers for a talent that came naturally I never thought the drawings was anything special I wanted to be able to sing dance or do gymnastics anything but just draw I was horrible in Math English and anatomy was really hard I wasn't interested in much and didn't participate in any extra curricular activities I felt very comfortable in art class when I entered junior high I didn't think it was cool to be able to draw so I didn't do my best and my art teacher was not influencial(?) uninspiring(?) and overall not a very effective teacher when I got to high school I met the most amazing woman who was very encouraging and made me feel special my art teacher she encouraged to be creative and express myself through artwork she was a ___.
