Assume that you have been hired to lead a team of instructional designers in the creation and implementation of a large e-learning project. many of the team members have never created e-learning solutions.
Hello everyone and welcome to the Digital Champions course. My name is Anne Donnelly and I will be your tutor for the course. I will be assessing your work as you complete each topic and hope to be able to help and encourage you along the way. If you have any queries at any time during the course please get in touch and I’ll be happy to help. Before you start on the actual course content we have a week of induction activities. This will help you get into the swing of things and practise using the e-learning environment. You’ll also be asked to introduce yourself to the other learners so it’s a chance to get to know each other. One of the important things about e-learning is supporting each other as you go along. Good luck with the induction activities. Let me know if you have any problems as soon as you can and I’ll help you sort them out. I look forward to working with you all over the next four months.

Personal Reflections on My Role Co-ordinating Training and Implementing the E-learning and Intranet Systems at Steinhoff International Group.
Hello everyone and welcome to Topic 1 of the Digital Champion ITQ course. I hope you've enjoyed working through the induction topic and finding your way around the e-learning environment. So, now we move on to the first assessed topic in the course. We’re starting by looking at some computer basics and at some of the features of Google. You may think you’re already familiar with this topic, but please take your time to explore the resources, videos and links we’ve provided and I’m sure you’ll find something new and interesting. As you work through the topic you’ll be asked to carry out some tasks - I hope you find them fun to do! As well as contributing to your portfolio they should give you some ideas to use when you’re working with your own learners. So, good luck with the first topic, and most of all, enjoy it! If you do have any problems or queries remember that I'm available to help or you might find it more appropriate to support each other in the Coffee Lounge.
