Hi I'm Jerome Cricker(?). I bet you're wondering what happened. I didn't work out at workshop but I realize that wasn't my life. So I decided to do something big. Something crazy. To climb Mount Everest with no oxygen tank. It took me a long time to get ready but after a year I was ready to climb Mount Everest. As I got higher it got colder and I even saw a dead body. I gotta go. It was nice meeting you.

Kerry Thomas tells us more about the MERI workshop in Brisbane on the 10th and 11th of April. . . it's coming up very soon! Kerry was very kind making this recording the night before flying to Cambodia, then back to Brisbane via outback Australia, and it'll be a great honour to have her back in Brisbane again. The initiative for this workshop has arisen from interest following the Sadie Philcox Lecture Kerry gave at University of Queensland August 2010. Now you're probably wondering what Making MERI is, and yes it sounds like a really fun workshop, and it is going to be a fun workshop - I can guarantee that! Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting, Improvement (MERI)will be very practical but it's going to have some serious side to it as well as Kerry explains.
