We're sitting in a workshop and little falls and we were reflecting on the 4 days that we had together. I'm gonna pass the phone around to the teachers and they're just gonna say what they want to say. Ok. Put me on the spot thank you. I think over the past 4 days I have learned to look at the way that I interact with my student and realized there is definitely more than one way of doing something and learning something and I need to be able to provide my students several different ways. Let them experience the different ways. Or to come up with way that they were
Good morning, Horace Mann family: Welcome to my phlog! A phlog ( P H L O G) is a phone recording broadcast over the Internet. The whole process is known as phonecasting. Everyone else just needs to know where to find your phlog online. Just tell them the URL in advance. Want to leave directions for your students when you are absent? This is it. Want to send a welcome message to parents? This is it. Want to record anything? This is it. Just pick up the phone or cell phone, dial a number, speak the message, and hang up. Done. The best part is that this is FREE. If you are interested, acknowledge receipt of this message to arrange a professional growth workshop with our administrators. Thanks a lot everyone for listening.

To climb Mount Everest with no oxygen tank. It took me a long time to get ready but after a year I was ready to climb Mount Everest. As I got higher it got colder and I even saw a dead body. I gotta go. It was nice meeting you.

Kerry Thomas tells us more about the MERI workshop in Brisbane on the 10th and 11th of April. . . it's coming up very soon! Kerry was very kind making this recording the night before flying to Cambodia, then back to Brisbane via outback Australia, and it'll be a great honour to have her back in Brisbane again. The initiative for this workshop has arisen from interest following the Sadie Philcox Lecture Kerry gave at University of Queensland August 2010. Now you're probably wondering what Making MERI is, and yes it sounds like a really fun workshop, and it is going to be a fun workshop - I can guarantee that! Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting, Improvement (MERI)will be very practical but it's going to have some serious side to it as well as Kerry explains.
