Good evening parents, this is Mr Wilder with today Homework Update. Today for ___ homework. The students were given a list of 10 questions. They were to read section 10.1 to 10.4 in the New Social(?) Book and then answered any questions from that shape that they could base on the information they read. ___ bring in a note signed by you saying that they did read 30 minutes and if they were able to summarize probably what they read. They should also use 10 words from this week's word and could have senses. ___ we watched them here today and I ask ___ so that I can take a look at what they learned tomorrow. Students have to write a letter explaining the conditions of how a slave would live during the 1500's and they will also to answer direct questions at the end of every section of the Science book between pages F6 and F12. Good evening parents. This is Mr Willer with your daily homework update. Today our reading students are ___ to the summarization activity on Study Island. They create 5 example sentences for the words we're studying with the Greek and Latin root of flex and flat to also to create 5 sentences with a word that has a sub text of either A and T or E and T on the end of it. Many of the students started the Math test today. Some actually finished. I am very pleased with the results we're getting so far and those students who didn't get a chance to finish today please remind them to show all their work perfect and they're gonna do great. Good evening parents, this is Mr Wilbur with your daily homework update. This evening the students should be completing a workbook page in their interactive Social Studies notebook. There's just 4 questions there for them to complete over sections 8.4 and 8.5 in their new Social Studies text and they also need to create a bar graph based on an experiment we did in class today. I'd like to get a special shout out to this class because they've been working so hard in Math that they actually are ahead of the rest of the 6th grade classes at this point. Several students have asked if they could take the Math test tomorrow. I'll be evaluating that situation tomorrow if I feel they're ready I'll have to take it.
