Hello this is Aaron Bashilder this is my first attempt at a phone cast. My target audience is going to be my students in US History this is a discussion about westward migration. We're gonna first talk about migratory animals and my first question is. Have you ever looked up in the shy and seen geese or ducks flying in a in a V pattern heading south for the winter. If you have then you have seen migratory animals at work. These animals have been migrating for thousands of years and they do it as a means of survival. They are attempting to get out of a cold climate which is not comfortable for their survival any more and flying south for the winter so that they can continue to survive. People also do this throughout history.

For me to be in an effective teacher. I believe I need to laugh laugh laugh and then laugh some more. Authorization is not one to trade in to lightly. Ours is not a profession for those who think our work here in today our students play for summer vacation. Ours is a profession which is literally a never ending job if you want to do an outstanding one in the classroom which is outstanding job of course comes exhaustion and so much frustration. This is a job that cannot know whatever they want in which the day flows smoothly. How can it be when you're confronted on a daily basis with over one hundred personality ages twelve to thirteen not to mention those other been throughout the school. This is why laughter is so important. What better way than to deal with the stressful day. Kurt Bonnie just said laughter and tears are best responses to frustration and exhaustion. I myself prefer to laugh since there's less cleaning up to do after work. I concur with him.
Following our combined orchestra rehearsal this morning and a city bus tour this afternoon, the orchestra gets treated to suthentic Costa Rican culture at Pueblo Antiguo, a theme park that recreates small villages of different historical times. The evening includes a folk dance show and a live percussion ensemble accompanying us all in, of all things, the chicken dance! Pura Vida!
While conductor Karidoyanes leads the first notes of the first rehearsal combining our NEC orchestra with the Costa Rica National Youth Orchestra, tour manager Margie Apfelbaum commandeers Mr K's phone to post her own phonecast of the event. Enjoy! [Following this rehearsal, the NEC orchestra goes on a lunch run; then a bus tour of the city of San Jose that features a visit to the National Gold Museum.]
