Hi well today we spent the day in Yakutsk and it's been 7 years since I was last here and apparently it's one of the fastest growing cities in Siberia and I can see the difference just in the last 7 years on my last visit. But it's still a fascinating city. It's really cold though it's hovering around minus 40 today and that's kind of average for for the city this time of year and it's just it's just well it looks as if the city's on fire but it's kind of like a thick haze as you're walking around and the cold really does hit you between the eyes when you walk outside. It makes your eyes water it instantly starts freezing up sort of your nose so your nose feels itchy and your eyelashes start to get a bit sticky they start sticking together and your cheeks burn and you really within a
Missouri currently has over 200 boards and commissions. Many of these are defunct and in all there are over 1,300 vacancies on these boards leading me to believe, among other things, that we have a MUCH bigger government than we really need.

Hi well how's the week or more of driving every day moving every day I think we were all quite pleased to have a day in one place today and we spent the day in which is a City just 70 kilometres from Lakeside House and it was also Russian Christmas day today so it was a bit strange to see that everywhere is still open and ___ was still pretty busy today all the shops were open and markets were open there were people in the square we went into the main cathedral and we're getting ready for a big service. So very different to Christmas day at home so it's interesting to see that so we had a wonder around this lovely City they call it that Paris is so good here and I can see why it's it's very different to any of the other cities that we've been in but tomorrow we move on and hopefully get our first ___
Oh it's been another really long day on the Roads day. We drove from Craft ___ to Jelon(?) but it's going to within I think about 400 kilometres of oh ___ which is where we're aiming for to the ___ today by Kel and whatever and I thought real challenging to try it again so but we've got ___ and I think we're all looking forward today where we don't drive anywhere it's quite exhausting after awhile and we were just moving every single day and I'm doing such a long days in the in the Land Rover. But ___ waiting here is still difficult to make ourselves understood even something as simple as filling up with petrol as the kinda bit of a running ___ because every single petrol station seems to have a different system on how you do it. We do we had a ___ we do what the system was but you put the nozzle in the tank then you go to a little window in the petrol station and hand
Hi well for the first gosh nearly 2 weeks now we've been heading almost directly east across Russia but today we did something different today we've headed due South for a change from ___ where we were yesterday and so we headed South sort of almost directly for the Mongolian border and we're almost on the same latitude as London now and just coming a little bit South has made this huge difference to the landscape we're seeing around ___ there was quite a lot of snow but only in the last week and then as we headed South we came out of the snow and hit these sort of huge vast planes like grass lands where there was hardly any snow at all and then we kept going kept going South and it changed once again we hit this huge sort of mountain scenery that was really spectacular. The O Jackie Mountains down in the Cocasa(?) Republic because.
