I think the distances that we've been driving every day and the fact that we've just been travelling every single day has caught up with all of us a bit for the last few days and we're all really tired and a bit groggy a bit reluctant to get going in the morning cos it's quite a long way and it's quite a long period of time that we've been on the road and I think we could all do with a big sort of steak here with chips and a big bottle of red wine right now but we don't get that here. In the cafes and things generally the choice is meat with any form of carbohydrate you desire so meat with potato meat with rice meat with pasta meat with buckwheat with a deep fried doughnut either has cabbage or potato inside it followed by either another deep fried doughnut with jam in it or if you're really lucky you might get pancake.

After a 6 hour drive from El Arenal base camp of Ojos del Salado, we were blocked by three massive landslides that wiped out the road. We could not make contact with our local agent by Satphone and our options were: 1. Camp overnight 2. Trek 20km at 8pm. Luckily, the daughter of our local agent heard about the landslide and arrived at the far side with the municipal police to ferry us back to Fiambala.
Hi well we've had a long exhausting cold day but a spectacular day on the road of bones the infamous road of bones and it really has lived up to it's name parts of it have been really good going but the last few hours have just seemed to go on and on and on and the road has got sort of smaller and bumper and bumper until it's little more than a track and the history of this place is always sort of in your mind really the fact that it was built by ___ prisoners that didn't make it out again which is why it's called the road of bones because they say under the road is the bodies of all the prisoners that helped build this road. So it's a tragic history but the scenery around it is just absolutely mind blowing and because it's so cold it's all kind of a bit weird all the trees are pasted with snow there very white.
Hi, it's Felicity again. Today we're on the road from ___ which was a tiny little place off from main road we stayed last night to Cora Modino(?) but I know I'm tag along I can't remember I say properly but it's not Cora Modino(?) and again it's another tiny little place so we're not quite sure what ___ but we're we're staying at the home today though and today it's been another really good road day. There's been in new roads built although it's brand new it's bumpy places. We didn't probably because of time across so it's a a bit bumpy and it's also a bit flare of any kind of service stations or any town cos we've got new roads in built straight away through the forest so it doesn't go through any of the settlements and so we have to be quite careful about filling up to where we can where we see fuels so that we don't run low and we've also been taking our chances a bit with the road to a cafes because we're ___

Hi this is Lucy and ___ which is just about 300 kilometres away from ___ where we were last night and we had quite a drive today. It was a shorter day than we usually have but we had a real mix of roads. We had probably the best road that we've seen in Russia and then we also had one of the worst roads we've first seen in Russia but we had a real mix but the scenery was absolutely stunning. It was ___ minus 25 ___ there's no snow whatsoever it's completely bare grassland so I'm not really quite sure why that is why there's no snow here but there was lots of snow in ___ just 300 kilometres down the road. I probably need to look at a bigger map to try and work out the ___ of it. But we've ___.
Oh it's been another really long day on the Roads day. We drove from Craft ___ to Jelon(?) but it's going to within I think about 400 kilometres of oh ___ which is where we're aiming for to the ___ today by Kel and whatever and I thought real challenging to try it again so but we've got ___ and I think we're all looking forward today where we don't drive anywhere it's quite exhausting after awhile and we were just moving every single day and I'm doing such a long days in the in the Land Rover. But ___ waiting here is still difficult to make ourselves understood even something as simple as filling up with petrol as the kinda bit of a running ___ because every single petrol station seems to have a different system on how you do it. We do we had a ___ we do what the system was but you put the nozzle in the tank then you go to a little window in the petrol station and hand
___ Felicity and it's really late here it's gone midnight and we've just arrived back in ___ after coming up over the mountains with quite a long way to go we've been driving for about 5 hours and the temperature we were down in sort of minus 20's in Tuva but as we've come back to ___ we've come a little bit further North and it's gone a lot warmer. It's only a few degrees ___ zero. So and tomorrow we're heading East we're heading back out to try and find the cold again and we're heading towards another Christmas as well. So cos Christmas Eve is gonna be in a couple of days time so ___ so we really are having a year of ___ and everyone seems in a very good mood yet there's been a lot more hooting at us and waving at us and we evening got our ___ back on the road today which doesn't happen very often. So that was nice and getting thumbs up from people that are driving past. Speak to you again soon. Bye.
Hi this is Felicity and we're on the road again today. We are now away from Elizabeth ___ and should be driving for nearly 12 hours already. Sharing the driving between us and then ___ home day mostly because the weather's been really bad it's been the worst weather we've had since the north cape and it's I think possibly it looks worst because there's no convoy driving here everyone's left ___ we've seen a few ___ but the there's no ___ across the road like ___ and it's been kicked up in the ass it feels a bit like ___ really bad at time and it doesn't help but nobody seems to drive desperately than they do on a normal day so we've been lots of glories ___ kicked up so yeah and every time one goes pass you ___ behind it but
Hi this is Kesley we are finished our last day here in Finland last day in Europe we are staying here in the South Eastern Finland close of order to Russia and we noticed big difference. We're a lot further South we have been and it went well above freezing today so all the roads are ___ the snow is melting and yeah big difference in temperature and we're quite far east also so we're seeing all the Russian and a lot of signs are in Russia Russian already yeah came from there
Hello this is a big hello from the Polo Cole team at the very top of Norway. We've gone as far north as we possibly can and we're at a place called Norcat(?) right now which is the end of the road. You literally drop into the sea and we can see the sea right in front of us so it's at top of a cliff but even though it's not like we just climb to the top of Mount Everest or anything we haven't had to clear the road today it still feels like a bit of an achievement to get here because we've been waiting through a storm yesterday and then waiting for all the ___ to get blown off the road today and we finally made it in the convoy right to the end of the road today so it feels like a little bit of an achievement on our part to get right as far north as you possibly can and this for us is as north as we're going to get. The next stop from here is the North Pole. So we have to stop here and we won't get this far north again in latitude terms even when we get out to Siberia so this is furthest North from us so we're all having a
