I believe communication is key to success. Working as a classroom teacher for over a decade and currently as a high school counselor I believe communication is key. It is so important for educators to communicate with students and parents to create a common goal and get students every opportunity to succeed. Over the years we as educators have always tried to brainstorm ideas of different ways to communicate with parents. It seems it's always clever to talk to the parents that we need to talk to. And that so many ways to communicate with parents now. Phone calls emails text messages and now I've learned pod casting as another form of communication. As a high school counselor I can see pod cast as a tool to communicate information to students about announcements upcoming events and important information. This pod cast could also be can say to the school website for parents about upcoming events and other important messages regarding.

Just checking my pin enjoying this pod casting and I really believe I'm going to be able to use this with my personnel evaluation update and professional development department update. I'm getting really excited about this. See you on the E Learning.

This is my first podcast and I'm going to try and use this as a tool to convey social skills through social stories to some of my students that was the thing that first popped into my mind when I started looking at my pod. A lot of my speech therapy clients need to have social stories shared with them specially my children who are autistic and I thought this would be a great way to be able to do that. So that's what I think I'll do with my my pod casting and I hope to spend the summer putting an awful lot of stories on my blog. So they're readily accessible to my students and my parents.

This is Lori and it's my first ever pod cast. This is really hard for ___ I've never tried it before and I think about how we work(?) our students to be Life Long Learners(?) we want them to be just takers we want them to be people who go out on the ___ and learn something new and I realize I have to be that person myself to this class tweeting(?) and logging and now pod casting grading children and grading papers. I think to myself I already have enough to do. So here's one more thing to do but truth is Life Long Learner being a Life Long Learner means doing things that are new and then at sometimes uncomfortable for me

Pod casting basics session five. Session five allows me to explore many avenues of pod casting. I listen to the expert pod casters who share some of their experiences as district administrators. And I found as says searching for podcast that had relevant to me as a teacher in future administrator. I was ground to pod cast with emphasis on improving student instruction improving student achievement and closing the gap between groups of students. I really like the discussion of providing teachers with professional development that made a difference for students. I agreed with putting star performing teachers in the classroom with students who needed to make tremendous leaps(?) in their achievements. If a poor performing teacher is placed with low achieving students should we expect for make changes and high achieving students as a result I found myself trying to find
