Hello Everyone, Welcome to the first presentation week, Week #12. I want to wish all of our presenters good luck! I hope you enjoy the process of having your work peer reviewed this week. Please know that everyone is reviewing your work with the best intentions, and of course they are required to ask questions or make a comment or suggestion for improvement. So, please understand that the process is done with the best intentions. I hope you all find it to be a very useful process. We have four presentation discussion boards being run this week. Everyone is required to participate in all four boards. If you are presenter, please make a first post so that you can enter your discussion board, and be sure to response to the questions and comments from your peers. If your peers post a suggestion or comment that you don’t understand or that you would like more information about, please feel free to ask your peer a follow up question. Additionally, if anyone makes the suggestion that you don’t agree with, in your response you can offer a defense as to why you have set things up the way you have (originally). Again, this should be done with the best intentions and we should all have a great attitude as we go into the peer reviewed week. For those of you who are doing the reviewing this week, please make your critique as specific as you possibly can. General suggestions often don’t move the process forward, but very specific, precise suggestions do have the ability to move our conversation forward in a very positive way. You’ll be offering those positive comments about the literature review and the hypothetical research study, as well as suggestions for improvement or questions. Please make sure you frame those questions and suggestions in a positive light, and again please be as specific as you possibly can and check back to see how each presenter has responded to your peer review feedback. The discussion board this week is open from 12am Tuesday, so it is open now, through midnight on Thursday. You are able to interact that entire time, but everyone must make a first post on the presentation discussion boards by noon on Wednesday. Peer review presenters please remember to respond to your peers as quickly as you can, so that the conversation can continue with a back and forth exchange about your response to the initial feedback. After this week, I think we will have a good sense about how the peer review process runs. Please feel free to ask any questions or concerns on the “Ask the Instructor” discussion board. I will not be participating in the presentation discussion board, because those board are being run by the presenters. I don’t want to “hijack” the conversation with any comments or questions that I may make or ask, so I will save my feedback until the end of the discussion. After each presentation discussion week has ended, I will post a summary post on each discussion board summarizing what I believe were the main points of the discussion and clarifying any outstanding questions or concerns. So if there are any concerns outstanding at the end of the discussion period, I will be able to response to those after the discussion has ended. Presenters: if someone ask a question and you’re not sure what the answer is, please try to find out. This is a great time to use your course readings and resources, and you’re welcome to go to outside resources as well, to clarify any questions or concerns that arise. I am thrilled with the presentations that I have been reading. It’s wonderful to see the way that you’re thinking through the information that learned in this course and putting it into action into your hypothetical research plan. Hello Everyone- Welcome to Week #3 of ADE 500! Thank you for a terrific discussion during Week #2. I really appreciated our conversation. Some of you did a wonderful job meeting the discussion requirements for this course, and some of you have a bit more work to do. Please review my grading note for the Week #2 discussion. This week our discussion begins this evening at 5pm and runs through Wednesday night at 10pm. Please be sure to post your First Post by 5pm tonight, so that we can all interact with it throughout the open discussion period. I look forward to continuing our conversation this week about- What is an adult? and What makes adults unique? We will also discuss our philosophical orientation or "positionality." This is a great time to begin your Adult Education Definition and Positionality paper. You should have a lot of great information from your discussion posts last week which can feed into your paper, and your posts this week can feed in as well. If you have not done so yet, please read the Assignment Guidelines for that paper ASAP. This week we will also be working in our Personal Journals again. We will begin our "Educational Autobiographies" in order to understand more about what we believe about education and why we have those beliefs. We will reflect on both our positive and negative educational experiences from the past. Personal Journal Entries are due by 11:55pm on Saturday. Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions or concerns. I have office hours tomorrow from 8am-9am, and on Wednesday from 8am-12pm. If you would like to stop in to see me, please send me a quick note to let me know what time. This is not a requirement, but if you do send me a note I will make sure I can see you as soon as you arrive. Hello this is Dan with White ___ last night. This is Ganna speaking. We are here in web design class with Sossy(?) Nat Ken ___ and Terese and there's lot faggots(?) over there that nobody likes. Then there's a couple of folks over on the other side of the room. I really feel that I should get anonymous because I have tried very hard I lost my ___ in the class and I feel that I should do a great get a great grade on this. Maybe some extra credit and you could pay for my plastic surgery because I need my ___ back. What's up guys Tony Crest here it is eight A M on Saturday morning. I just got done about an hour ago. Teaching a body weight training class to a group of about seventy chiropractor it's quite an experience for me had people ages from I don't know I thinking like twenty two twenty three to about seventy five all doing the same work out. So very interesting but I had a great time. Had a ball. This guy Dr Pampa(?) if you wanna look him up late they have an interesting way of looking at things about the body so I learned a little bit as I took them to the half hour work out just about some different things that they do that they got some products that they ___.

Hi Al, my wordal(?) contains words that come to mind that I feel capture my experiences with ___ and how I feel about the feature teaching of my classes online after taking this class. These words combine adjectives(?) that came to mind while taking the class. Few points. I have about my future teaching. Roles I plan to have as an online teacher and teaching tools that I plan to use in my online class. I made the word students the largest word because I think sorry I think teaching is all about the student what they're learning how they're learning and why they're learning. I had a great time learning with everyone and I feel much more confident about my ability to provide a good learning environment for my students online. Thank you.
